Leo is a worshipper, musician, and songwriter from Tijuana, Mexico. After having a difficult childhood, he became a part of the first generation of kids at Rancho De Sus Niños, an orphanage now known as The Mission. It was there that he first encountered the love of the Father.

Leo held a guitar in his hands for the first time when he was 12 years old; it was then that he knew what his purpose was. Leo began leading worship when he was 14 years old and since then it has become his passion to worship the Creator and to lead others to Him.

Leo met his wife Sandra at Rancho De Sus Niños, while she was a house mom for a group of boys in the orphanage. Leo and Sandra were married in 2001 and have formed a beautiful family with their 5 kids; Mauro, Erika, Cruz, Ana, and CaDey.

After living a few years in Weaverville, California, Leo began to feel that it was time to move back to Mexico to serve The Mission. He obeyed the call of God and has been serving as the worship pastor for The Mission church since 2008.

Besides loving music, Leo loves doing construction, running marathons and has a great sense of humor. Leo is known for his relational leadership and his ability to establish genuine and long-lasting connections with people around him. He is passionate about family and has a high value for community.
